Sri ChitturiSubbaRao, the Founder of Sri Venkata   Krishna Educational Society was born in Tanuku.  In the fond memory of his sister late Smt. KondepatiSarojini Devi he formed he founded S.K.S.D. Mahila Junior, Degree and P.G. Colleges in 1982 and later I.T and D.Ed colleges with Hostel facilities for promoting formal and Vocational Education to the rural and Tribal Girls.

Mr. Rao has taken care to provide career guidance for getting employment opportunities and initiated organization of seminars and workshops in collaboration with VivekanadaInstitute of Human Excellence and through spiritual personalities like JaggiVasudev.  For the all round development of girl students he has conductedVipassana Meditation and Yoga camps.  For promoting Physical Education he constructed, Sports Hostel and Sri ChitturiSubbaRao, SatyaUsha Rani Indoor Stadium, having Badminton courts of International standards.  He also started a Badminton Academy in collaboration with PadmasriPullelaGopichand.

His altruistic and Philanthropic cult can be visible in conducting programmes like Swatch Bharat, massive plantation, disaster relief camps through N.S.S., N.C.C and Chitturi Humanitarian Foundation.

In commemoration of his mother Smt. Akkayamma he donated huge funds to SandhyaJyothi, Home for the aged.  He is the Founder President of Fight Against Corruption Today (FACT).  He fosters KurlaRatnitaVanabhojanalu.  He acted as president Farmer’s Association, President of West Godavari Badminton Association, Managing Director, Nirman Ltd., Hyderabad, Director NCL Industries Ltd., Hyderabad and now serving as Managing Director, Sri Balabalajee Textiles, Tanuku, Vice Chariman A.P. Spinning Mills Association and Member of the Cotton Yarm Advisory Board Ministry of Textile Govt. of India.
